Truckee Recycled Art Event
April 19-20, 2008 from 11:00am - 6:00pm

The Brickelltown Shops (The Feather's Edge Finery, Riverside Studios, Fair & Green, and Drake & Lulu's) are hosting a Recycled Art Event, in celebration of Earth Day. 11am -6 pm Many local artisans will be displaying their work. Lots of fun to be had. For more information call 530-587-5677.

Truckee Home & Building Show
May 24-25, 2008 from 10:00am - 5:00pm

Truckee Brew Fest
June 14, 2008 from 1-5pm

Sample exceptional beer in a beautiful mountain setting while helping to fund local youth activities. Located at the Truckee River Regional Park and sponsored by the Truckee Optimist Club, this annual event features select breweries from around the country including; Fifty Fifty Brewery, Great Basin Brewing, Lagunitas Brewing, Big Sky Brewing, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Anchor Brewing, Full Sail Brewing, Hoppy Brewing Co., Firestone Walker Brewing, Wyder’s Cider, Rubicon Brewing, Lake Tahoe Brewing, Sam Adams, Fox Barrel Cider, Buckbean Brewing, Mendocino Brewing, Anderson Valley Brewing, Mad River Brewing, New Belgium, and more.. Truckee 4th of July Parade
July 4th, 2008 from 10:00am

Truckee Annual Cannibal Cruise Car Show

McIver Arena. Week-long event comprised of Queen Pageant, Cowboy Poetry and music, Kid's Day, Sponsor's Team Penning, Jackpot Barrel Race, Golf Tournament, BBQ, Dinner and Dance, Pro Rodeo.

Truckee Renaissance Faire

Truckee River Regional Park. The Truckee Renaissance Faire transports visitors back in time to a fictional European village during the mid-1500s. Entertainment and activities include jousting, reenactment groups, stage entertainers and food. For more information call 530-582-1498.

Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop
October 4th, 2008

Now in its fifth year, the Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop has established itself as one of Truckee's preeminent events. This annual favorite brings nearly 1,000 locals and tourists to historic downtown Truckee to sip wine, taste scrumptious food samples and enjoy shopping. Merchants in historic downtown Truckee will offer wine and appetizer tasting to wine lovers, food connoisseurs and shopper extraordinaire. With your ticket you'll receive a commemorative wine glass to sample wine at 25+ venues, 5 food tickets, a program with a map to all participating venues and a goodie bag. Truckee Donner Party Hike
October 4-5, 2008

Truckee and Donner Summit. Emigrant history and more. Enjoy guided, interpretive hikes showcasing the spectacular beauty of Donner Summit and learn about emigrant history, the building of the transcontinental rail road including a walk through snowsheds, high sierra lakes, and more.
